The six
hour cooking class includes foods from colonial times prepared
over Bolton Mansion's open hearth. Susan McLellan Plaisted
provides the members of the class with detailed instruction
of the food cooking preparation, information about what
is required to cook with an open fire and embers, and interesting
stories about the life and times of people in the 1700's.
A sit down dinner of all food prepared during the class
concludes the interesting and entertaining class. Colonial
cooking classes are an ongoing event at Bolton Mansion.
